 Cheap stuff that now has to be fixed! August 26, 2010

I received this item in a timely manner. Then I took it out of the bag and took off the marketing sticker/label and it was stuck to the tag of the bandana that was very cheaply sewn into the end of the bandana. They only did one turn on the sewing machine to keep the little balls inside the bandana and thats were the tag was, the sticker was stuck, and so the tag and the sticker came off together and that pulled the whole tiny thread out too.... so now I have a bandana that cannot be used until I can get a friend to repair it for me. Hello.... 2 inches of thread, can you do a double stitch please?! I know that this item wont last at the mechanic shop I work at until I have my friend reinforce all the sewing they did or should I say didnt do. After all that, I dont even know if it will work to keep me cool once its fixed.

I've tried a few similar bandanas from different companies. These are okay, but the red one does bleed when you soak it in water--so wear it with a red shirt! The blue one had a different pattern than the one pictured. I gave it away with the warning that the colors might bleed. I would try a different company for these.

These things really work! In Texas heat I change them out about every 20 to 30 minutes, this allows me to do things outdoors when it is actually too hot to be outside. An ice chest is an ideal place to re-cool them.

I purchased these for my son who was in Dujoubi, Africa for the USA Navy, the heat there get to be about 120 degree.
My son loves them and passed them out to the other CB's who work on building bridges and building schools for the orphans.
They ask for more, so I am buying more. All they have to do is put them in water and they puff out and keep their necks cool for hours.
